Our Hosters will be performing a routine maintenance on the OX webmail cluster (Enterprise Email and Business Email) in 2 phases and will be carried across two weeks

All services and actions associated to OX webmail will be down during this maintenance, which is estimated to last about 3 hours. During this maintenance, you will encounter errors if you are:
1) Adding new Business or Enterprise email orders via OrderBox
2) Making modifications to existing Business and Enterprise Email orders on the server.
3) Adding or deleting email accounts on your existing email hosting package
4) Changing password of your accounts or making any other changes in your email accounts from the email management panel.

Phase 1:
Task: Upgrade OX (Open-Xchange) version to 7.8
Downtime: Saturday 23th Jan 2016 21:00 IST/15:30 GMT To Sunday 24th Jan 2016 00:00 IST/ Saturday 23rd Jan 18:30 GMT
Effective Downtime: 3 hours

Phase 2:
Task: OXDB (OX Database) Move to Mysql Galera Cluster
Downtime: Saturday 30th Jan 2016 21:00 IST/15:30 GMT To Sunday 31th Jan 2016 00:00 IST/Saturday 30th Jan 2016 18:30 GMT
Effective Downtime: 3 hours

Please note you can continue to send/receive emails if your email account is configured via pop/imap on email clients like outlook, thunderbird, mobile etc. In case of doubts please refer to this article which provides step by step instructions on configuring email accounts on various different email clients.

This upgrade has been planned extensively over the past 2 weeks and the procedure has been rehearsed and timed on test equipment to verify duration and to test procedural order and contingencies. Rest assured we have a transition plan that will protect your data and minimize the impact to your normal operating schedule.

In case of any doubts, please reach out to the support team at the earliest.

Phase 1 of the upgrade for OX webmail infrastructure is now complete.

Along with this change, we have also hardened our security policies on the Email Infrastructure. Hence-forth all mailers which will be sent across to the alternate email address on events like new email account creation, resetting  password for an account etc, will not consist of the account password. This change will be made live across all our products (Free Email, Business Email and Enterprise Email) and will be sent out in HTML format.

Do reach out to the support team in case you have any doubts.
